When ordering cut-to-shape products, ensure you include a cut path within your artwork.
| A cut path is what the cutting machine will use as a guide to follow the shape of the area being cut out. This path should consist of a spot colour vector stroke (0.1pt - stroke point size; the higher the number, the thicker the weight of the line) in the exact shape and size you want the product to be cut, with the spot colour named as CUT. This applies to cut paths that are required both on the inside and on the outside of designs. |

Creating spot colours
To create a new colour swatch, right-click within the Swatches panel of your design software and select "New Colour Swatch". Change the colour type to "Spot" and label it with the name "CUT" to clearly define it as the cut path. Assign a colour that is both easily distinguishable and does not interfere with your design, such as 100% Magenta to allow for quick identification of the cut path within your document.
