When creating Scodix artwork, ensure you supply an additional page in your PDF with a duplicate of the elements you wish to enhance. This should be set as a Spot Colour named Scodix. For example, business cards would need to be supplied as 4 pages within one PDF in the order shown here. This is to ensure pages are in the correct order when backing up your artwork. |
For front page Scodix
The first page should include the front design of your business card. The second page, the back design. The third page should include the Scodix element set in a spot colour and the final fourth page should be left blank. |
For back page Scodix
The first page should include the front design of your business card. The second page, the back design. The third page should be left blank, with the fourth and final page having the Scodix element set in a spot colour. |
IMPORTANT: You should not supply the front and back pages of the business cards together with the scodix layer in a separate PDF. Ensure your artwork is not supplied without a blank page, as this will lead to automatic rejection. |
NOTE: Scodix is only available on one side and cannot be applied over creased areas of folded products. When creating artwork for Scodix files, ensure you leave a 2mm gap from the edge of the trim area, as well as 2mm away from any fold areas. |
